Close out Memorial Day with friends and a taste of great Israeli whiskey.

In the last couple of years, quietly and slowly, the Israeli whiskey industry (particularly distilleries in Tel Aviv and the Galilee) became the surprise of the whiskey world. In fact, this year, the young “Milk and Honey” distillery won the biggest award the whiskey industry has to offer: 2023 World Whiskies Awards.

Thanks to JAFI and UJA, we will have the opportunity to explore the Israeli whiskey industry - we will taste nine different Israeli whiskies from six different distilleries. Our guide on this whiskey journey will be Joshua Mann, from "Jews and Booze" - an initiative created to embrace the light-hearted side of life, that good whiskey and spirits are meant to celebrate.
