Two PSJC facilities staff
Ritual items: challah and wine/juice for kiddush
Basic Beverages: seltzer, coffee, tea

All Kiddush food must be brought in from an approved Kosher caterer or prepared in the PSJC kitchen according to PSJC’s kashrut policy. If you are unsure if a caterer is acceptable, please contact the Synagogue Administrator.

Please select Simcha Kiddush if:

You expect more than 100 guests (from inside or outside the PSJC community).
You will be creating a unique menu or other special set up plans.
You will want to have a larger or different display of food than can be offered with the Standard Shabbat Kiddush.

When a Special Simcha Kiddush is planned a minimum of $250 fee will be charged, for additional costs incurred by the synagogue (staffing and supplies). This fee is in addition to the catering costs and fees described below. In addition to this, please speak to the Synagogue Administrator regarding appropriate tips for our synagogue maintenance staff.

I understand that all deliveries, food and flowers etc, must be made by 12pm the day before the Kiddush and that the office is aware of these deliveries.I understand that all extras items (ie candy, paper supplies, brochures) should be brought to PSJC by 12pm on the Friday prior to the Kiddush. I will check with the PSJC office about where to store them.I understand that if a meat/fleischig Kiddush is desired ovens utensils and serving trays must be brought in from the caterer.I understand that the synagogue administrator will provide me with suggested guidelines for tipping the PSJC Facilities Staff based on the size and scope of my kiddush.

Deposit Amount

After reviewing your form we will confirm your kiddush date and selections and send you an invoice for the additional costs beyond your deposit. All payments are due the Wednesday before your Kiddush date unless otherwise arranged.

On the next page you will see payment options. You can either:
1. Pay via credit card using our secure credit card processor Authorize.net or
2. Choose to add the cost to your account, you must be logged in to your account and then choose the pay later via the drop down menu. If you choose the pay later you must send in a check payable to Park Slope Jewish Center at 1320 8th Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11215. Your reservation will not be confirmed until payment is received in the PSJC office.
