The entire PSJC community is invited to join us for a Lev Tahor Kabbalat Shabbat service, followed by a celebration of the 20th anniversary of our Hevra Kadisha (Sacred Burial Fellowship). Hevra Kadisha volunteers watch over and care for PSJC members and their immediate relatives who have died in our community. Bring a vegetarian parve or dairy dish to share, learn how our sacred fellowship developed over decades (and centuries!), and enjoy the camaraderie and satisfaction that come from being part of a caring community. We will honor the leadership and volunteers of ALL our PSJC caring efforts — including our sacred fellowship volunteers who have died and received the hesed shel emet / ultimate kindness that they previously gave to others.
